About Us

FOUNDER AND BOARD CHAIR

Dr. Anatole Manzi was born and raised in Rwanda. Like many young Rwandans who came of age in the post-genocide era, his journey was shaped by uncertainty and the life-changing power of second chances. Dr Manzi pursued his education with deep gratitude to his uncle who served as a benefactor and support. With restored hope, Dr. Manzi committed himself both personally and professionally to improving the lives of children who go to sleep hungry, face preventable health conditions, struggle in school or drop out, and lack lives of opportunity. With this vision he conceived of Move Up Global, which launched in 2020.

Professionally, Dr. Manzi has built his career at Partners In Health (PIH) currently serving as Cluster Lead for Capacity Building and Professional Development, promoting cross-site learning and knowledge translation, transforming frontline experience into scalable tools and training resources across PIH’s ten country operations. Previously, Dr. Manzi served as PIH’s deputy chief medical officer and director of clinical quality and health systems strengthening. He is an assistant professor of global health at the University of Global Health Equity and a lecturer at Harvard Medical School, and an instructor at Tufts University.

BOARD MEMBER, EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Kevin Batt has long been active in promoting human rights in his local community and abroad with a current focus on protecting immigrant rights in the face of anti-immigrant policies of the United States federal government. His interest in human rights expanded to movements in East Africa since his journey there in 2015. In addition to his service on the board of Move Up Global, Inc., Kevin serves on the boards of Ubuntu Center for Peace, which promotes community-based social healing and reconciliation in Rwanda, and of Sexual Minorities of Uganda (SMUG), which engages in the struggle to protect gays, lesbians and other sexual minorities in Uganda. He serves as chair of the Board of Multicultural Education Training and Advocacy (META), a legal advocacy group supporting the rights of English Language Learners in public school systems in the United States. Kevin previously served on the boards of Cambridge Cares About AIDs and AIDs Action Committee of Boston. Kevin retired from his practice as a municipal and environmental attorney in Boston, having helped litigate the rights of same-sex couples to marriage leading to the first U.S. judicial decision recognizing marriage equality. 

BOARD MEMBER

Elizabeth (Betsy) Bloom is a founding member of Move Up Global and Professor Emeritus of the Hartwick Teacher Education College Education Program. Her work with MUG centers on improving Rwandan teacher performance in collaboration with local leaders and practitioners. She has completed two extended in-country workshops in schools and an online training course. She and her sister, Nancy Bloom, launched a side project on behalf of MUG, Soap for Hope, funding a school-based, teacher-run soap making enterprise for local sale and distribution while simultaneously making and selling soap at pop up events in the Boston area to support continued soap manufacturing in Rwanda.

Betsy, a 30 year veteran teacher and teacher educator, is the author of numerous articles and book chapters on Education policy in the United States and is the co-editor of three books, Resisting Reform: Reclaiming Public Education through Grassroots Activism, Dress Rehearsals for Gun Violence: Confronting Trauma and Violence in America's Schools and A Relentless Threat: Scholars Respond to Teens on Weaponized School Violence. She has a BA in Anthropology and a BA in Secondary Social Studies Education, both from SUNY at Oneonta, An MA in Cultural Anthropology from SUNY Albany and an EdD in Education Theory and Practice from Binghamton University.

BOARD MEMBER, INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER

Cora Cunningham is a global health researcher and advocate based in Zurich, Switzerland. Her work focuses on advancing maternal and child health through improved water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) access in crisis-affected and resource-constrained settings, combining rigorous research with community-centered approaches. Drawing on field experience in Malaysia, Rwanda, and Nigeria, she has contributed to humanitarian WASH responses in more than 30 countries. 

After serving as a Move Up Global Fellow and Projects for Peace Award recipient, Cora joined Move Up Global’s Innovation Council in 2024 and its Board of Directors in September 2025. She returned to Rwanda in January 2026 as a Rose Service Learning Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Cora currently leads the organization’s WASH research and programmatic initiatives, supporting evidence-based approaches to improve health and education outcomes in rural Rwanda. Cora earned an MS in Global Health and Population from Harvard University and BS in Biopsychology and Community Health from Tufts University.

SECRETARY, BOARD MEMBER, AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Jennifer Goldsmith consults with senior leaders at US and global organizations and also teaches and mentors students at universities including Brandeis, Tufts, and Simmons and previously at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. At Tufts University, she and MUG Founder Anatole Manzi began teaching global health courses in 2018 and now teach introductory and advanced courses in the Department of Community Health. 
Jen has built a career in program development, strategy, planning in domestic and global health and higher education with a deep commitment to systems improvement and fairness in access. She has held leadership roles at Harvard University, Seed Global Health, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). At BWH, Jen served as Director of Programs and Administration for Global Health Equity for seven years under the leadership of Dr. Paul Farmer. Jen earned a BA from the University of Michigan, MS in Public Health at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and MEd at Boston College.

BOARD MEMBER

David Giber has served as a volunteer Board member at Move Up Global since it was founded spearheading funding and strategy and providing training to MUG’s partners in Rwanda in areas such as project management and organizational development. As a Leadership and Organizational Consultant, David is active in the areas of education and global health. He has served as an advisor to Partners in Health, UNDP,  the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and other health systems and universities.  His expertise is in developing leaders, teams and organizations focusing on achieving measurable change and greater effectiveness. David has held director-level roles in human resource management and leadership development in high-tech, financial services, and travel industries. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University and a B.A. from Stanford University.

TREASURER, BOARD MEMBER, AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Delphine Mutesi serves as Treasurer, Board Member, and member of the Executive Committee of Move Up Global. She brings more than 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, billing, financial reporting, budgeting, and operations across nonprofit, healthcare, and banking settings.

Delphine has been part of Move Up Global since its earliest days, first serving as a volunteer accountant and later stepping into financial leadership. She helps strengthen the organization’s financial stewardship, transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability, ensuring that resources are managed with integrity in service of children, families, and communities.

Delphine currently works in the Medical Billing Coordination Unit of the Ophthalmology Department at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to relocating to the United States, she worked as an accountant at Banque Populaire du Rwanda. Delphine brings deep professional expertise, discipline, humility, and personal commitment to Move Up Global’s mission.

BOARD MEMBER

Celia Reddick is an Assistant Professor of Education and International Development at Florida State University. Her research focuses on education in settings of conflict and forced migration, with a particular focus on issues of language and literacy.

Celia’s research is shaped by 20 years as a teacher, teacher-trainer, and international education consultant. She began her career as a 9th/10th grade teacher in the U.S. and has since worked with educators and families in Uganda, Rwanda, Haiti, Liberia, and Kenya. In the role of Curriculum and Training Specialist with Partners In Health in Rwanda (2010-2013), Celia co-founded a small program to support families’ educational efforts, work she draws on as a member of the Move Up Global Board. She earned her PhD in Education from Harvard University, where she also earned a master’s degree in International Education Policy.

INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER, BOARD MEMBER

Cami Stillwell is a public health professional and educator with experience supporting youth-focused health and education initiatives across Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and the United States. Cami joined Move Up Global's Innovation Council in 2024 and became a Board Member in 2025. At MUG she has spearheaded communications and social media expanding the reach and narrative that describes MUG’s vision, mission, and impact. Her work across health and education systems has deepened her commitment to youth development, sexual and reproductive health, and sustainable community-based initiatives. At Move Up Global, she supports communications, fundraising, partnerships, and organizational operations, helping strengthen opportunities for children, families, and communities to thrive.

She graduated from Boston College in 2023 with a degree in Applied Psychology, Human Development, and Global Public Health and has since worked with organizations focused on maternal health, adolescent well-being, and education.

BOARD MEMBER

Norm is a lifelong resident of Boston, Massachusetts committed to the vibrance of the city and its thriving communities including Roxbury, where he grew up and Dorchester where he now resides. For more than two decades, Norm has held volunteer roles including having been selected by former Mayor Thomas M. Menino to sit on the Roxbury Strategic Master Plan Oversight Committee which he currently co-chairs, having overseen the commitment of ~$520 million development dollars. Mayor Michelle Wu selected Norm to serve on the City of Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals where he serves as Secretary.

Norm joined with Move Up Global in 2020, teaching computer skills to teachers in Musanze In 2022, Norm became a member of MUG’s Board of Directors. Norm graduated from Norfolk State University, a Historically Black College and University in Norfolk, VA with a BA in Economics and built a career in technology managing and operating large computer systems in the banking industry. 

BOARD MEMBER

Tasha Tower is an educator with extensive experience and interest in using group dynamics and systems improvement to strengthen communities. In addition to her board role, Tasha served as MUG’s Director of Partnerships building out the fellowship program, communications strategy, and daily collaboration with IREME. Tasha currently works as a 5th Grade English Teacher and is learning more about literacy education in the hopes of bringing that knowledge to IREME.

A native of the Washington, DC area, she completed her undergrad and Masters in Teaching at Boston University. Between those degrees, she worked in the nonprofit world for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee and then the Boston Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in 2003. 

BOARD MEMBER

Dr. Walcott is an Assistant Professor in the department of Health Policy, Management, and Behavior at the University at Albany School of Public Health. She completed a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and her dissertation examined the role of gender norms on sexual and reproductive behaviors and acceptance of male circumcision for HIV prevention. Her research interests include social and structural factors associated with HIV risk behaviors and developing and implementing patient-centric biomedical and social-behavioral interventions to increase equity in HIV prevention and treatment among marginalized populations.  Her current research focuses on assessing the association between patient-provider relationship and experience of racism in health care, and engagement in HIV care, and viral suppression among Black men who have sex with men (BMSM).

Faisal Zareen is a global development leader with more than 20 years of experience supporting international organizations through growth, transformation, and impact. His expertise includes governance, strategy, finance, risk management, compliance, partnerships, and organizational development, with a focus on strengthening institutions to deliver sustainable results. Throughout his career, Faisal has held leadership roles with organizations including Helen Keller International, GiveDirectly, Partners In Health, Save the Children, Aga Khan Health Service, and Turquoise Mountain Trust. His work has supported programs across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and the Pacific, spanning global health, nutrition, education, humanitarian response, livelihoods, and community development. 

In addition to his executive leadership experience, Faisal has served on the boards of international charities across the United States, Asia, and Africa. He is passionate about strong governance, ethical leadership, and building partnerships that create lasting social impact.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & EDUCATION SPECIALIST, MOVE UP GLOBAL IREME (MUG IREME RWANDA)

Olive Nyiraneza is a visionary leader and the Executive Director of MUG Ireme Rwanda, bringing over 23 years of leadership experience in education, community development, capacity building. Under her leadership, MUG Ireme has expanded its impact by improving access to quality education, strengthening health and livelihood initiatives and introducing technology and digital literacy programs that equip students and communities with essential 21st-century skills.

Throughout her career, Olive has made significant contributions to both the education and health sectors. She served as a Senior Teacher at Nyabihu Christian Academy, a project of Reach the Children International Rwanda, where she played a key role in advancing student learning and development. She also worked as a Training Coordinator at Partners In Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima, successfully leading professional development programs for community health workers, nurses, and doctors, strengthening capacity across healthcare teams.

Recognized for her strategic vision, strong partnership-building skills, and commitment to empowering others, Olive has led transformative initiatives that have improved educational outcomes, expanded access to technology and enhanced community health conditions & well-being. Her leadership continues to drive innovation, sustainable growth, and lasting social impact, advancing MUG Ireme’s mission of creating opportunities for students and communities to thrive.

ACCOUNTING AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Benigne Abimana is the Accounting and Administration Manager at Move Up Global-Ireme. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from University of Kigali and brings valuable experience in financial management, administration and organizational operations.

In addition to her academic background, she has completed professional capacity-building programs in Project Management and Continuous Data Quality Improvement (CD-QI). She is recognized for her professionalism, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER

Dr. Emrakabe Bekele is the Health Program Manager at Move Up Global-Ireme. She holds a Doctorate in Medicine from Bethel Medical University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from KIA Med Medical College.

With experience in community health, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and project management, Dr. Emrakabe leads health initiatives that support students, families, and underserved communities. She is passionate about health education and regularly provides training and capacity-building sessions for community members and students.

Her work is driven by a commitment to improving access to quality healthcare and strengthening long-term community wellbeing.

COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER

Nzarora is a dedicated community health worker at Nyabirehe School, one of the schools supported by Move Up Global Ireme. He has received comprehensive training in  non- communicable diseases, childhood diarrhea, combating gender-based violence, maternal and child health including malnutrition and mental health and child protection from Gataraga Health Center, a government-supported program for community health workers and also on regenerative farming and nutrition education from gardens for Health International. 

Nzarora provides first aid at the school, facilitates timely referrals of students to health facilities when necessary, and conducts follow-up home visits. He screens students for prescriptive signs of intestinal worms and malnutrition, and also offers health education to students and the wider community to promote better health practices. His commitment is to improve student well-being and community health through proactive and compassionate care.

CHICKEN FARMER ASSISTANT

Mugisha Jean D'Amour is a Chicken Farmer Assistant at Move Up Global-Ireme, where he supports poultry farming initiatives that promote food security and sustainable livelihoods. His responsibilities include poultry care, animal health monitoring, hygiene management, and disease prevention.

He holds an A2 qualification in Veterinary Sciences and has received additional training in project management, computer skills, and agricultural processing. Through his education and field experience, Jean d'Amour is committed to helping communities strengthen household income and food security through sustainable farming practices.

HOUSEKEEPER

Fany Irasubiza is the Housekeeper at Move Up Global-Ireme, where she helps create clean, organized, and welcoming environments that support the organization's daily work. She is recognized for her professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining high standards.

Alongside her work in housekeeping, Fany has experience in fashion design and tailoring, which reflects her creativity and appreciation for quality craftsmanship. She takes pride in serving others and contributing to spaces where people can learn, work, and thrive.

CATERING & WELFARE OFFICER

Charlotte Kabega is the Catering and Welfare Officer at Move Up Global-Ireme. She holds an A2 Diploma in Hospitality (Hotel Management) and certifications in Restaurant Services, Culinary Techniques, and Room Services.

Charlotte brings experience in customer service, food preparation, culinary operations, and hospitality management. She is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to create welcoming environments that support the wellbeing of staff, students, and visitors.

DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL LITERACY AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Theophile Nilingiyimana (Nili) is the Director of Digital Literacy and Information Systems at Move Up Global-Ireme. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and has experience in IT management, digital systems, data analytics, media and communications, and AI-driven innovation.

Skilled in Power BI, REDCap, CommCare, KoboToolbox, and digital content creation, Nili uses technology to strengthen education, health, and community development programs. He is passionate about innovation and committed to helping communities access opportunities through digital transformation and sustainable solutions.

SENIOR PROGRAM ASSOCIATE, DIGITAL LEARNING AND OPERATIONS

Titien Sendarasi is a passionate tech professional currently serving as the Senior Program Associate, Digital Learning and Operations at Move Up Global-Ireme. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and has built a strong background in digital learning systems, IT operations, and technology-driven programs.

Passionate about software development and innovation, Titien has worked as a freelance Full-Stack Web Developer with experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Java. His technical expertise also extends to network security, administration, and management, enabling him to support secure and efficient digital infrastructures.

Earlier in his career, Titien interned at Broadband System Corporation in Kigali, where he strengthened his practical skills in networking, troubleshooting, and IT support services. Known for his curiosity, adaptability, and love for emerging technologies, Titien continues to grow as a tech enthusiast committed to digital transformation, innovation, and building solutions that make a real-world impact.

COMMUNITY GARDEN AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

Theogene is a dedicated Community Garden and Development Assistant at Move Up Global Ireme, where he supports community nutrition, garden development, and local empowerment initiatives. He holds an A2 qualification in Electricity and also brings valuable experience as a Community Health Worker (CHW), helping communities improve health and wellbeing through practical support and education.

He has received professional training from Tubura, One Acre Fund, Rwanda Red Cross, USAID / IREX Building Peace in Rwanda Communities program, RWAMREC and  Gardens for Health International on regenerative farming and nutrition education. Through these training and his field experience, Theogene has strengthened his skills in community development, nutrition education, peacebuilding, and sustainable agriculture practices.He also works closely with community members to encourage environmental sustainability and improved household well-being.

RESEARCH SPECIALIST & DATA SYSTEMS OFFICER

Josue Twahirwa is the Research Specialist and Data Systems Officer at Move Up Global-Ireme, where he leads data collection, management, analysis, and reporting across programs in education, health, digital literacy, and community development.

He holds an M.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences with a specialization in Data Science from AIMS Rwanda and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Rwanda. His expertise includes KoboToolbox, Power BI, R, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, and data systems design.

Beyond his work at Move Up Global, Josue serves as an Olympiad mathematics coach, supporting students preparing for national and international competitions. He is passionate about using data, technology, and mathematics to strengthen programs and improve outcomes for communities.

LIVELIHOOD AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM MANAGER

Ujeneza Nicole is the Livelihood and Community Development Program Manager at Move Up Global-Ireme. She leads the Umwete Incubators initiative, which promotes innovative approaches to food security across supported communities. She also oversees social entrepreneurship initiatives, including soap-making and livestock farming programs that help families strengthen household livelihoods.

Nicole holds a Bachelor's degree in Project Management from INES-Ruhengeri and has experience in project design, management, monitoring and evaluation, and community training. She is passionate about working alongside communities to implement programs in education, health, nutrition, and environmental sustainability.

Through her work, Nicole helps communities build practical skills, strengthen food systems, and create sustainable opportunities for children and families.

DRIVER

Yves Uwineza serves as a driver at Move Up Global-Ireme, supporting the safe and reliable transportation of staff, students, and program activities. He has a background in General Mechanics and brings strong technical knowledge and practical experience in vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems.

Holding driving licenses in categories A, B, C, and D, Yves is known for his professionalism, reliability, and commitment to quality service.

INNOVATION COUNCIL CO-CHAIR

Dan is a third-year medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine with plans to become a physician-researcher in infectious disease and health equity. He graduated from Tufts University in 2024 with a degree in Biology, Community Health, and International Relations, with a concentration in global health, nutrition, and the environment. At Tufts, he first joined Move Up Global in 2022 as a research fellow, originally studying community health workers as a form of primary care in Musanze. He is now a co-chair of the Innovation Council, leading programmatic efforts in research, advocacy, and partnerships for the organization. Dan looks forward to continuing MUG’s Ipfundo model through future implementation research initiatives and sustaining partnerships with like-minded organizations to further health equity among communities in Musanze and beyond.

Outside of Move Up Global, Dan engages in research on humanitarian water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) with the Lantagne Group at Tufts University, adolescent HIV with Socios En Salud (Partners In Health), and racial disparities in emergency department boarding with the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital. His future research interests lie at the intersection of infectious disease, One Health, migration, climate change, and community-based participatory research frameworks.

INNOVATION COUNCIL CO-CHAIR

Originally from Washington, D.C., Ben graduated from Tufts University in 2023 with a degree in Community Health and is currently a third-year medical student at Brown University. Over the past six years, he has worked on a range of global health initiatives across South Sudan, Rwanda, Bangladesh, and the Solomon Islands, focusing on programs addressing both neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). His work has spanned research, program implementation, health systems strengthening, and community-based interventions aimed at improving access to care in underserved settings.

Ben joined Move Up Global in 2022 and co-founded the Innovation Council in 2023. Since then, he has helped advance the organization’s work through research, strategic partnerships, educational initiatives, and organizational development. His experiences working across diverse health systems have strengthened his commitment to understanding how health, education, and policy intersect to create lasting opportunities for young people and communities. Through his work with MUG, Ben seeks to foster innovative collaborations and sustainable solutions that empower communities and improve long-term health outcomes around the world.

INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER, 2025 MUG FELLOW

Sarah will be graduating from Tufts University in May 2027 with a B.S. in Biopsychology and Community Health and plans to attend medical school. As a 2025 Move Up Global Fellow, she worked on developing and implementing a sexual and reproductive health (SRH) education program for adolescents in Musanze through a community-defined quality improvement framework, as well as implementing the Health Passport program. Sarah is particularly interested in chronic disease management, women’s health, health literacy, and increasing access to equitable healthcare in both community and global settings.

INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER, 2024 MUG FELLOW

Sarah graduated from Tufts University in 2024, where she focused her Community Health studies on learning how to enhance menstrual health access and education across underrepresented populations. She brought this passion into her Move Up Global fellowship in 2024, developing and piloting a preliminary sexual and reproductive health (SRH) education curriculum for students in Musanze. She prioritized making this curriculum inclusive, digestible, and interactive for all students. Starting July 2026, she will be attending Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine in California, where she will continue exploring ways to promote women’s health equity and education in medicine through a public health lens.

INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER, 2025 MUG FELLOW

Mia will graduate from Tufts University in May 2027 with a B.A. in Community Health and a minor in Spanish. Through the 2025 Move Up Global Fellowship, she worked to advance sexual and reproductive health (SRH) literacy among adolescents in Musanze. She contributed to the development and delivery of an SRH education program guided by the community-defined quality improvement framework and supported the implementation of the Health Passport program. Mia is passionate about advancing health equity through community-driven initiatives that address the social and structural determinants of health. She is particularly interested in maternal and child health, environmental health, infectious disease, and health policy. After graduation, Mia plans to pursue a career in public health.

INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER, BOARD MEMBER

Originally from just outside Washington, D.C., Cami graduated from Boston College in 2023 with a degree in Applied Psychology, Human Development, and Global Public Health. Over the past four years, she has supported youth-focused health and education initiatives across Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and the United States. Since graduating, she has worked with a maternal health organization in South Africa and with Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda.

Cami joined Move Up Global’s Innovation Council when it was founded in 2024 and became a Board Member in September 2025. Her experiences working across both health and education systems deepened her interest in the ways these fields intersect to shape long-term well-being and opportunity for young people. She is especially passionate about youth development, sexual and reproductive health, and sustainable community-based initiatives.

With MUG, Cami supports communications, fundraising, partnerships, and organizational operations, with the hope of strengthening systems that allow children, families, and communities to thrive.

MUG-INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER

Egide  is a Clinical Medicine and Community Health student at the University of Rwanda and currently serves as a Program Officer at Bold Women Rwanda. He is passionate about public health, research, and youth, Girls & Women empowerment. Egide actively engages in initiatives that promote sexual and reproductive health, Mental health awareness, and community health education. He has experience in digital communication, health advocacy, and research, and is involved in projects that explore community-based health interventions. Egide is Aspire Leaders Alumni 2025 Community Project Mini Grant Winner and also served as UNITED Movement Eastern and Southern Africa Country Representative.

INNOVATION COUNCIL MEMBER, 2025 MUG FELLOW

Gawon earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Biology from Tufts University and is currently a medical student at Tufts School of Medicine. In Summer 2025, she completed the Move Up Global Fellowship, where she focused on improving sexual and reproductive health (SRH) literacy among adolescents in rural Rwanda. During her fellowship, she helped design and implement an SRH education program applying the innovative community-defined quality improvement framework. She is passionate about advancing women's health, strengthening health education, advocating for task-shifting, and addressing gaps in health systems, including improving access to acute surgical care in resource-constrained communities.
